I can't seem to get my charge 3 connected with my Huawei, its always a struggle and takes so long. And I can't always receive notifications, I have to literally keep the app open to get notifications, well even that only works sometimes.

Very disappointed.

Hi @W99. Welcome to the Forums. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

 

Thanks for letting me know about the syncing and notifications issues that you've had. Before anything else, let me explain that to receive notifications it's required to have the Fitbit app running on the background as this will ensure the connection between your Charge 3 and your phone. Now, since you mentioned that it's not always syncing or getting notifications despite having the app open, I'd recommend to try the following steps:

 

  1. Remove the Charge 3 from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby.
  3. On your phone's settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  4. Go back one screen, tap on force stop and reboot phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap the profile's icon > Charge 3 > Sync now.
  6. Once it has synced, set up the notifications one more time.

 

If the issue persists, please provide me with your phone's model and Android version. This will help me to further investigate.
