Charge 5 not tracking sleep correctly

My new charge 5 isn't tracking my total sleep time. Even when I've gone to bed at 10 and it will only start recorded sleep from within 1 am or even as late as 3 am. I have tried various changes in settings and how I wear it but to no avail. Any ideas?

Hi @Mfreeland49,

 

Were you awake at all during that time?  The Fitbit needs two complete hours of sleep in order to pick up on the fact that you're sleeping.

Yes I did. Last night didn’t start reporting until after 3am and I had gone to bed at 10:45pm.
