Charge HR Won't connect to Samsung Galaxy 4s

I am unable to connect my Samsung galaxy 4s to the charge hr. I've tried restarting my phone, reinstalling the app, turn Bluetooth off and back on, etc. It says the Gallery 4s is on the compatible devices list and my brother has the same phone and his connected just fine.

Welcome to the Forums @Charge-HR-gal4s! As you've mention the Samsung Galaxy S4 is listed within the compatible devices to sync. I'd definitely start by checking out if you've followed these setup instructionsMake sure that there isn't another bluetooth device that may be creating interference during the process. If the issue persists, check out this article.

Let me know how it goes.

I'm having the same problem with Charge HR and Galaxy S4. Works fine with my PC. Funny thing is it was synced this morning by itself then failed to sync 5 minutes later.

I'm having the same issues with my Galaxy S4. I shouldn't have to reset, dump app, reload app, re-link Fitbit every day. This is ridiculous.

I have been having the same issue since Jan 12th with my Samsung S4. I have been in contact with support. They said it must be a bad charge hr. .sent me a knew one AND still the same issue. I can connect to my pc and Kindle fire but not my phone. Beyond frustrated! I got my charge hr on Jan 6th and not able to use with my phone for most of that time.

I spoke to them via chat online today. Their solution was to do exactly what I've been doing already. It usually holds for about 24-hours so we'll see. Somehow this time I managed a factory reset (charge hr started vibrating and showed error message) so maybe this time it will keep. No such luck on a new one. On top of all of that the band and buckle both have caused a rash in the past on my wrist.

I've had trouble syncing to my S4 ever since the 2.17 app was released.   Today, 2.17.2 was released and now the sync problems have gone away.  Everything is working fine again.   I hope you are seeing similar results with today's update.

Did you have to reset the band to get it to sync?
