I have had my Charge HR for 2 years - never a problem. My last sync was April 2 - it will NOT sync. I have tried everything - letting it die completely then re-charging, plugging into the charger while holding the button to reset - nothing worked. Now I had to get a new phone - a Moto Z2 - very new model - and you say my Charge HR is not compatible. The phone does not pick up the Charge HR on the Bluetooth - my car is synced, and I can sync my wireless speaker at home. Short of buying a new Fitbit (which is not gonna happen) what are my options?

Buying new wont solve your problem its the phone that's not compatible.
Can you set it up on the computer until the phone is compatible?

That is my next step - I was just checking for other options. Thanks!
Well syncing to a computer and or tablet did not work either. Guess it's time to find a new company to deal with.

mine wont sync since latest app update, this happened before and then just started working weeks later. Very frustrating. Considering trying Garmin next

Mine stopped sync'ing two or three days ago.
But after checking, even though auto-update box is checked, an (android) update is available.
Updated app and I can sync again.
@PKerr, don't forget the Bluetooth adapter (BTA) that came with your fitbit. While your new phone may not be compatible, the BTA should work on a computer (Apple or Windows).
Good luck!

@franrahway, have you tried restarting the fitbit?

I don't think so.
Mine wasn't syncing for the past 3 days. I did many restarts.
Updated the app today, and now it syncs.
My data from the past 3 days is there (app & dashboard).
PS. If the data never got off your fitbit, it might be gone. I was thinking mine got off, but maybe it was downloaded. Either way, it's really your only option. I'm at 16,609,249 lifetime steps, so a day or two is really no big deal. 😉

It actually just started working
Hey that's great news. Maybe something was funky on fitbit's back end.
Maybe upgrading the app had nothing to do with our sync problems.
All's well that ends well.
TGIF!
