Charge HR won't connect anymore to Samsung Android phone (S4)

Hi,

The device was working fine until yesterday afternoon. Then, the app reported for several hours that it couldn't connect to the device.

I tried disabling and enabling bluetooth, or restarting the phone, made no difference.

I removed the device from the app and try to add it again, but it's not detected by the app at all.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the Android app, made no difference.

I reset the device (by pressing the button for 10 seconds while charging), and tried to associate the device again with the app, but made no difference.

At some point, I thought the device might be faulty, so I tried to associate it and connect it to my Android tablet, and it worked fine via the Fitbit app.

Not sure what to do next.

Thanks,
Jane

Wonderful troubleshooting @JaneB35

If not already done, feel free restarting the phone.

Optionally feel free to check out the Fitbit Article:
