Charge HR won't connect to my phone

I have the Charge HR and a Samsung S5 Mini. I've done everything in the instructions and as per the email troubleshooting advice I was sent yesterday. I've reset my fitbit device, turned bluetooth on and off, deleted and reinstalled the Fitbit app, unpaired all my other bluetooth devices, fully charged the fitbit device etc etc.

when I go on to my phone's bluetooth manager, the fitbit device shows up on there so it's not like my phone can't see it.

Does anyone have any other suggestions please before I send the stupid, useless pile of poo back!?

It's still not working 😞 I've emailed the support team but the response I got was rubbish - they wanted to know when I purchased it, and what my email address is!!!!

@AmyB86, have you tried turning off WiFi on your phone to see if it will be able to connect to the tracker?

BTW, the reason Fitbit Support asked for your email address and when you purchased your tracker, is because that is how they find it in the system and can see its activity on the network. May be rubbish to some, but a technical necessity to them....

Hi, yes I've tried turning the wifi off and on. Still didn't work.

They already have my email address - I emailed them from it!! It was purchased from Amazon. I am arranging for a replacement this evening, but I thought I'd try fitbit directly first because they'll be more qualified and experienced to help

I have a samsung galaxy s5 mini too, I bought a fitbit blaze and had the exact sam problem. Tried everything and even called fitbit. Ended up returning it. Infact i bought one for my dad too he has a samsung note 4 and he had the exact same problem. We also returned his. We would still like one if we can get them to connect, it just continuously said cant connectto blaze or pairing rejected by blaze. Would be great if someone knew how to sort it im beginning to think its a Samsung v fitbit issue!
