Chat function not working from mobile

The chat function loads from chrome, gets me to sign in, I select the Google sign in option. Then it gives a thinking symbol.....and then goes totally blank, without loading. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, @FM12345, welcome, can you please provide more information including the make & model of your mobile phone? A number of factors may be actors here, are you trying to get to "Customer Support" for Fitbit or are you trying to access another service? Have you previously signed in with your Google account? As a first step in resolving problems like yours, I suggest you go to the Fitbit app in your phone settings menu, clear the cache and force a stop. Restart your phone and try again.

Let us know how you get on.

Hi, @FM12345 I'm not clear on what you are trying to achieve Absent a response to my earlier question - "A number of factors may be actors here, are you trying to get to "Customer Support" for Fitbit or are you trying to access another service".

If you are using the Fitbit app on your phone running the current app and have logged in with your Google account touch your icon in the top right corner of the "Today" screen>Fitbit settings>>help & support>contact customer support>choose the product & follow the thread.

Let us know how you get on.

Strange that on my new (and first ever) Fitbit, a Charge 6, on my iPhone 14 Pro running iOS 17.2.1, i have the exact same issue.

Was looking for support, chat was offered, chose to sign in with my Google account. Two options presented- whether to open in browser or not. If i select to not (as this implied the session would open within the Fitbit app to me), absolutely nothing happens. If i select to do open in a browser, whether i allow it to open in FireFox or Safari on my phone, i get a blank screen. Tried waiting, tried refreshing, tried swearing at it - all had the same absent result.

 Further adding to the frustration is the Fitbit app reporting no internet connection sporadically when all top of phone indicators show a very strong connection and other running programs have no communication difficulties.

 Did we speed this device and release out a little too quick in order to make it for the Christmas market?

 In any event i would like to believe that these issues will eventually be corrected-
