I have the Alta HR and my daughter has the Charge 3. I wanted to set up a family account for her but it looks like I can only set up the Ace for a child. So I logged in to my account on her phone and set it up that way. Well, now MY phone is syncing to her Charge instead of my Alta. How can I do this without setting her own account up (which she is too young for)?

Unfortunately, you can't.
Everyone using a fitbit has to have their own account (as it needs to know their age, height, weight etc.) and anyone under 12 needs to use a child account which only works with the Ace.
I'm afraid I can't see a solution

So currently, my options are to either go buy the extra hardware my child doesn't want (because it doesn't look like mine), or lie about my child's age and create them an "adult" account in order to use the hardware we already have?
I know which route I'm taking. Thanks, Fitbit, for forcing my hand.
