Clearing Food Log.

ANSWERED

Is there a way to clear the 'frequent' and 'recent' entries in the food log?  I have too many entries that are no longer relevant and just clogging everything up.

Hi, @TheNeilHaley welcome. The short answer is "No". Gemini advises as follows -

To clear food data in the Fitbit app, you must manually delete each log entry or custom food one at a time, as there is no option to clear all food data at once. To delete a logged entry, go to the food tile on the Today tab, find the log, tap the entry, and then choose "Delete item". To delete a custom food, select it from the "Custom" list, tap "Edit Custom Food," and then select "delete".

How to delete a food entry
  1. From the Today tab, tap the food tile.
  2. Find the log you want to delete by scrolling through the days.
  3. Tap the day, then tap the specific log entry to view its details.
  4. Tap the ellipsis (...) icon or the "Delete item" option and confirm.

How to delete a custom food
  1. Navigate to the Custom Foods list.
  2. Select the food you want to delete.
  3. Tap "Edit Custom Food" in the top right corner.
  4. Tap the three dots icon in the top right corner.
  5. Select "delete" from the menu and confirm.

There are many suggestions and feature requests in the feedback regarding the "Food" element of the Fitbit app. Use the search bar to add your voice to those you feel merit your support. If required, it's a simple process to add your own detailed suggestion. The board is monitored.

Cheers

Feedback is a waste of time.  They never read it.  There are so many basic features that should have been there from the start.

Google focuses more on how to screw us over and force us to switch to there Google watch.

There is currently no official way via the Fitbit app to delete “Recent” or “Frequent” entries in the food log.

They probably do read the feedback, however, if the comment doesn't get enough support from the users. Please remember you are currently in the user support user area.

Do you see any feedback that covers your question that you can add feedback to. Or have you added your feedback to a new thread?
