I'm not sure there is a point in this post other than hopefully getting an update on when it is expected to be resolved as any time I try to start a support chat, I'm waiting hours without reaching anyone.
A couple days ago, the Fitbit app started to experience sync issues with "Couldn't sync your Google Pixel Watch 3. Tap to open help."
I've done all the troubleshooting steps. The watch is connected just fine as apparent in the attached screenshot.
Two days ago, it was at least syncing sleep data, heart rate data and hourly activity. Today, nothing is syncing.
I saw that version 4.26.1 is rolling out and may fix this issue, but I've been on that version since this issue started.
Anyway, if anyone has new information, I'd appreciate it. Or if anyone can pass this on to developers that the most recent version does not fix the issues as I can't get in touch with support.

Have you checked for updates to your watch?
Settings, System, System updates.
Current Android security update is November 5, 2024, but you may not have it yet, updates are released in stages.

Yes, Yes, Yes.... the phone and watch are as up-to-date as is consumerly possible. I check every day - and the phone is set to update automatically every night.
I have gone through all steps in troubleshooting. I have uninstalled and re-installed the Fitbit app. I have force-stopped the app. I have put the phone in airplane mode and taken it out again. I have not tried doing any of this while in the rain - or on a train! 😉 I have also not done a factory reset on my watch - but I really don't want to lose the data...
The watch syncs with the phone... I have changed watch faces, updated tiles, checked battery, etc. My phone still unlocks when close to the watch.... it is not the watch functions.... it is the Fitbit App. It is the only thing won't work.... it stopped on November 14th (Fitbit was last updated to 4.30 on November 11th according to the app) - it worked for almost 3 months before that date.

I recently was having issues with syncing my Pixel Watch 3 to the Fitbit app. In addition to turning Bluetooth off & on, I also turned Wi-Fi off & back on. Some users had reported that turning Wi-Fi off & on, in addition to Bluetooth, was what worked to get their devices to sync. Then, I restarted my watch. That got my watch to sync with the Fitbit app again. Although, there's no guarantee that this will work for you, it might be worth a try.

Thanks, RiekoC - by putting in Airplane Mode and taking it out - it automatically turns off Wifi and Bluetooth. I'll give it another try later today. "Funny thing" - the App and Watch sync my weight through Health Connect/Google Fit to my Eufy Bathroom scale...
So Fitbit is syncing third party Apps through Health Connect/Google Fit to the phone and watch just fine - but can't sync their own app...

So - not only does the watch not sync with the Fitbit app - but apparently, that connection is required to maintain ANY sleep data (duration, type, etc.) on the watch and other health functions - including Resting Heart Rate, Skin Temp Variation, and Readiness Score.

I do not have any other Pixel Watches linked to my phone.
I now have to November 5th Security Update on my phone as well... so, completely up-to-date with fresh phone/watch reboots.... no difference.

Same with charge 6 on a pixel 8 pro. Stopped syncing during night two days in a row, since I migrated to Pixel from Xiaomi.

Still not synching... I've "deleted" the watch from my phone and re-attached it - still nothing.

Am I really the only Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 3 watch combo that is not synching since November 14th? Going on a month now, having tried literally every troubleshooting step EXCEPT factory reset on the watch...

Last night's update fixed my synching issue... And it added all (most) of the past days as well!
