Hello @JoL27, nice to see you here in the Fitbit Community, welcome aboard! Is this happening in the exercise calendar on your Fitbit app? Or are the actual exercise that is not saving on your daily history?
Also I'm curious to know which minutes are updating? Is the time of your exercise or your active minutes?
In the meantime since this seems to be a problem with the app I would recommend to do the following: Log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.
See you around and I'll be looking forward to your response.

Hi there!
I'm having the same problem with the app not registering my daily exercise in the dashboard.
The actvity/minutes is clearly there but it's not showing up for each day in my Daily Exercise tile and when it does, it's very random (ex. DId a great, long walk on Sunday for over 30mins and even hit my calorie target but no Daily Exercise. Walked my kids to school like i do every morning and took the long way home and it registered that just this morning. ?).
I read the troubleshooting advice above and followed it but there is still no change in past week or yesterday's Daily Exercise.
It's happened on 3 separate occasions so far.
My app is updated and i've only been active with Fitbit for just over a month now. Am i missing something?
My Fitbit Alta HR is fine. No issues with it or any other components of the Android Fitbit App. Just Daily Exercise.
I have it set for 5 days a week.
Any other insight?
Thank so much!
Cheers

I tried this and my fitbit is still not syncing. I just began having syncing problems. It was fine for the first month of service.

Multiple posts with sync issues at what point do you look at your systems? This happens from time to time and the usual response is its something on our side. I am showing that Location is OFF when it isn't and if you keep trying to sync it finally says No Network Available yet it partially updates throughout the day. I can do everything else on my Samsung phone so the issue is NOT the phone. Your app is not connecting to your servers.
I have had the app for 3 years and at times after an update there are sync issues and there was an update last week. I've never had to reinstall the app but it eventually starts working after whatever the network issue is resolved.
Please let us know you contacted an internal group about the high number of sync posts since the update.

Hi Roberto....thanks for your help. As far as I can see everything is updating as it should. It just seems to be the daily exercise thats not updating correctly. I had to update one day last week as it never showed up on the app and I note today hasn't updated. I tried what you said last week and today but it's not not catching all my days

I'm still in the same boat.
I have done everything noted above and *almost* thought the Weekly Exercize captured my daily minutes but..i was wrong.. it randomly worked last week which is why i didn't reply back to any posts but, now it's being finnicky again.
I have force stopped, restarted, logged off/in, stopped, started, uninstalled/installed... for some reason on days that i clearly log a good amount of time, it doesn't register and yet when i walk to the corner and back, it does.
What's my next step?
Thanks in advance..

Turn bluetooth off on your device...i.e. phone or laptop, wait about 60 seconds. Be sure the fitbit is near this device. Turn bluetooth back on and make sure there is no other device in the area that has bluetooth turned on. Go to the app and see if you can manually sync via the app.

Thanks,
I've tried that. I've synced but still no record of my daily exercise in the Weekly Exercise tile on the dashboard. My steps were logged already so manually adding a 40min walk in increased everything else for that day.
Is that the only way to get around it?
Thanks for the advice though...

I set my Flex 2 to show the times that I exercise 30 minutes each day (for 5 days). It shows up as a little pentagon as it completes each side. It recorded Sunday and then quit recording. If I open (click on) the pentagon and slide one screen to the right, I see a chart of days across the top with check marks below each day. I am showing 3-4 check marks on each date. If I slide one more screen to the right, the bars indicate that I exercised by the duration the past days through Sunday. Then it quit showing the yellow bars.
I have checked all the settings I know to check: location, etc. I have turned off and on many connections/permissions. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app (although it still does the same thing on my laptop so that is probably not the problem).
I am at the end of everything I know. My phone is past its time that the phone company thinks I should buy a new one (!) and my Fitbit was purchased in December.
Help!
