Dashboard Version Differences

Why is my DASHBOARD on my Samsung Galaxy S 3 different than on an iPhone? I cannot write posts or see the posts in 'Notifications' that iPhones can!!! I have NO icons at the bottom of my dashboard screen to tap to see friends posts & photos they post & for me to be able to write posts & share photos!

Cannot write posts for my Fit Bit friends to see, or see theirs, but someone with a iPhone & the same type of Fit Bit (Charge 2) can. How can I see & write them/posts, & post photos as well?

Hello @mermaidcowgirl, let me give you a warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! I was reading your post and the reason of this, is related to the version of Android running in your Galaxy S3.

With the most recent version of the Fitbit app is require to run the latest versions of Android and Samsung in matter of firmware updates has stopped the support with the Galaxy S3. So this is the reason you are not able to see the new version of the app and neither are available the other options that allow you to see its latest features like the Community feed like it happen with your iOS.

The latest version of the app can be found here and to review which version you have on your Android phone do the following:

  1. Tap the menu button.
  2. Tap Help.
  3. Tap Fitbit App.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have other question.
