Dashboard & Distance Not Syncing Proper

This is so frustrating but my dashboard shows a certain number of steps and / or miles. When I click on steps or distance it shows something else. I have to keep clinking around or exit the app all together for it ton correct. I went to see if I have the most recent version and it shows I don't need to update. What is the issue and how do I solve this?

@Folkie A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! Seems odd that your Dashboard doesn't show the same amount of steps when you tap on the "Steps' tile. I'd like to investigate further and I'd like you to provide 2 screenshots, one of the Dashboard and one showing the different amount when you tap on the tile.

 

Also, try logging out of the app, turn off your phone and turn it back one. Once this has been done, open the app, log in and check out if the issue persists.
