Dashboard missing step tile/icon

So now we ate all.updated and I have a brand "new and improved" dashboard that gives me information on everything EXCEPT my steps. The only was to check these is to check directly on my Fitbit One itself. .or I can roam around the details area to check weekly total steps. I'm a dinosaur! I want to see steps on my dashboard. There doesn't seem to be a way to add that icon in the edit feature.  How do I do that please? And thank you.

Hello @savtac, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, welcome back.

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please uninstall the Fitbit app, reboot your mobile device, reinstall it and let me know if the issue persist.

Keep me posted.

Thanks for your response. I'm working with a samsung galaxy 6s...I spent 3
hours with Fitbit online chat help today...only to be told I would have to
wait until they came up with a fix to the problem...I was told that my
device was no longer under warranty (I knew that- it's 4 years old!) And
was offered a discount on a new device... which wouldn't solve the issue of
the thing actually not being able to be paired with either my phone or
computer, which is apparently the problem with both the non-sync issue as
well as the dashboard one. Of course, until the last fitbit update of 5
days ago, everything was working perfectly well together.
Over the last several days it has been hours of different people trying to
solved the pairing problem. It took a long time today to finally have
someone say in a very roundabout way that they have to fix it from their
end and its not my device's issue!
