Different Mileage Recorded after Bike Run

I went for a bike ride and tracked my exercise with the Fitbit app on my pixel 8 pro.  After having rode 60.01 miles, I concluded my ride and saved it on the app.  Upon checking my ride stats, it said I had only ridden 57 miles.  Why was there a discrepancy?
