Different amount for distance goal listed on android app compared to fitbit.com

I have a Versa 2 and I’m having an issue with the distance goal being different on my android app and on fitbit.com.

The dashboard on my android app stated I didn’t complete my distance goal (5.6 miles) even though I have over 8 miles. I check my dashboard on fitbit.com and it shows my distance goal at 9.01 miles. Same account, same device, different distance goals listed.

So I edit the fitbit.com distance goal amount from 9.01 miles to 5.6 and now the goal amount on my app has changed from 5.6 miles down to 3.5 miles.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app, reset the Versa 2 but it is still happening.

The different goal distances are exactly in the ratio of miles to km.

i.e. 9.01 km = 5.6 miles

and 5.6 km = 3.5 miles

Somehow you've got goals in different units on Android app and fitbit.com dashboard.

Check units on both.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

It looks that might be the case but I'm not able to completely fix the issue. I'm able to switch to cm/km and it syncs to 9.01 km on both the app and website dashboard but once I start switching back to ft/mi the amounts becomes uneven again.

Another confusing thing is when I had the fitbit app on my iPad it correctly showed the info from fitbit.com. The android app was and still is the only one with the wrong info out of the three.

I've also revoked access from all devices and that hasn't done anything to fix this issue.

I have noticed that same issue this week. I am using an Android phone app as well, but I have a Charge 3 Fitbit (got it at the end of Feb). I didn't use a Fitbit for about 18 months, so I just logged into my old account when I got my new Fitbit. So both the website and app should still be set to miles\feet since I'm in the USA. I know my app is set for miles. And the website dashboard says miles.

I set my app to have a 4 mile daily goal, but the dashboard says I have a 5.86 or something daily mile goal. When I change the dashboard daily miles to 4, it makes my app miles goal 2.49 miles a day. WTH?!
