Sitting down on my sofa and all of a sudden I have a notification and icon on my phone - Connected GPS is running. Never seen it before. Can't find how to get rid of it. I don't want it. My phone is Samsung Galaxy S23+

Hi @groovegoddess - this may be because the watch is auto detecting an exercise. If you can see in your exercises in the Fitbit App which, go to the watch exercise and turn off GPS for it (swipe up).
If your GPS is running randomly your watch battery may not last as long, try holding the watch button for 10 seconds till it blanks or vibrates and wait for the logo to appear and for it to start.
If this is not helping please post back as numerous people complain about watch battery not lasting and you may have detected the cause of GPS connecting randomly for some unknown activity.
