Discrepancy between Blaze & Samsung 8

Can someone explain why the mileage is different on the Blaze and Samsung Health app.    Reason I ask is because the blaze is getting the GPS from the Samsung,  and I would think the final mileage would be the same.

 

The Blaze always show shorter distance then the Samsung.     My sport of choice is biking.   

I do 16.5 miles per Samsung 8+ and 16.1 miles per Blaze.

Today was the worst of all.

 

At 16.5miles on the Blaze it was showing only 7.9miles,   I finish up with 28miles per Samsung,  but blaze only has it at 19.39miles.

 

I'm starting to wonder why I even have this fitbit.

Today for the first time,   fitbit and samsung were a match for distance.     I am wondering if me messing with permissions fixed this?   Last night I was goofing with permissions and I noticed I started getting notifications.    I was so sleepy that I don't remember what I did,   I believe I fell asleep just as it started to work.
