GPS measures correct distance but the goal circle won't register 3.1 miles has been completed until it reaches 5 miles. This is obviously a glitch in the program code. I told this to the customer service people and they make me Uninstall and factory reset everything for the 3rd time since I got this watch in July. It still sets up 3.1 miles and tells me I have 5 to complete. It is obvious the error is confusing miles and kilometers. But I am told I have to go out and test using the GPS. The GPS is not the problem . IT IS THE PROGRAM CODE. Every time I have used this since I got it in July it has done this . I complete my distance, get a star on my chart, but my circle says I'm not there yet. As a runner I loved how my fitbit always lit up green and all my circles filled when I reached my goals. Now after coming back to fitbit from a Samsung watch, I'm very disappointed that it has never happened. I just wish I could get the dignity of acknowledgement from customer service.

The app seems to have a problem with metric vs imperial measurements. When KJ is selected instead of calories, it gets the one of the graphs messed up with the wrong size for the most recent day - it's 1/4.18 the height it should be, and in another, all the numbers are 4.18 times what they should be. (1kj is approx. 4.18calories).
It looks as though your problem is exactly the same, with 3.1 miles being close enough to 5km.
Not that it's any help to you, but I just thought I'd mention it. I also made a post a few months ago about it. It also sank without a trace. It seems as though the forums are the only place to report bugs, so it would have been nice to have at least had it dignified with a response - as long as the response isn't the uninstall/reinstall, delete cache, delete data.
