Do any Fitbit's sync well with Motorola phones?

I recently got an Alta HR after trying a used Charge HR for a while.  I wanted the feature of buzzing to remind me to walk every hour and liked the slimmer design.  However, the Alta does not sync well with my Motorola phone.  All of the remedies online don't help.  My question is whether any of the other Fitbits are better.  The used Charge HR seemed to work fine, but didn't hold a charge (ironically :).  I'm just wondering if I should exchange the Fitbit for a different style or if my phone is just not compatible enough for Fitbit in general.

Hello @SMNPGH.

It is not a matter of the Fitbit device in this case, all of them work the same and should work with a phone that is on the list. Taking that into consideration, I'd still recommend that you follow the steps I shared above.

Let me know if there is anything else that I can help with.

Welcome to the Forums @SMNPGH.

In this case I'd say it is more related to the phone itself than the Fitbit. You can read our supported devices list in here.

As long as a phone fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, then app and everything have a chance of working correctly but we cannot guarantee it for phones that aren't there. Is your phone on the list?

Having said that, reminders to move should work as long as they are turned on in your account and your Fitbit has synced correctly at least once after you have turned them on. You can read the steps to turn it on in this article.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

You did not answer my question. Yes, my phone is on the list of supported
devices but it does NOT work well. Are there any other Fitbits (not the
Alta) that have a better track record with the Motorola phones?
