Let's have a look at the supported devices:
The latest devices supported are the P8 ( april 2015 ) and the Mate 7 ( September 2014 ).
I thought to myself, no way that can be correct. I thaught they just haven't updated there website.
We bought the Charge 2 and we were suprised to see that it's impossible to setup the device, or sync the device, with the Huawei P9 Lite ( april 2016 ) or the Mate 9 ( November 2016 ).
Why did they stop supporting Huawei? Huawei has already surpassed Apple’s global smartphone sales in 2017. It doesn't make any sence!

I did not know that they do not support HuaWei till I read your message.
I just got a HuaWei Mate 10 and Fitbit Charge 2. Both of them work hand in hand with each other so far.

I feel you! My fitbit is basically worthless thanks to its incompatibility with the smartphone.
Anyway, the sad thing is that if you analyze phones from other brands (Asus, Sony, LG etc..etc...) the latest models to be supported have been released in 2015.
Seriously, of all the compatible android phones list, the only supported device which is still on the market is the Samsung s8.
