Dutch translation after updating Fitbit app

Oh my, oh my, what happened?

Since Wednesday September 16th I updated the Android app. As my settings are set to Dutch (Dutch) I was surprised to see certain, still, English terms and phrases are suddenly translated in Dutch. In Dutch? Is this a joke? I don't know who or what has translated this, but you better turn it back if you can't pay a translator or find a native speaker...

I mean: He are..., you is...

Hi @RicardoFitbit , thanks for your reply.

The main problem is in the challenges.

This is not just a matter of a few hilarious mistakes, but something really went wrong. Dutch grammar is too often ignored, words are translated literally and the meaning is not considered. There are very strange and artificial sentence constructions, articles are missing, conjugations are incorrect, etc.
This is food for a translator and not for Google translate or a Fitbit user. As I said in my previous post, when the conjugations "I are" and "you is" are used, something is very wrong.

I must say, this is a nice one,....   Dat stappendoel wist niet wat hem overkwam. (That step goal didn't know what hit him).

- X en Y liggen elleboog aan elleboog. Why? What áre they doing and where are they doing it?!

- Jij is B voorbij gevlogen. Frank Zappa would have loved it.

- Zij doet mee / Zij heeft meegedaan. So, is she in or out?

Corr behaald! Interesting, but what would it mean?

- Uitdaging tijdens de werkweek. "Werkweek uitdaging" will do.

To conclude, a completely unnecessary addition:

"Do you know what you are?

You are what you is
You is what you am
(A cow don't make ham . . . )
You ain't what you're not
So see what you got
You are what you is
An' that's all it 'tis"

Hi @MarioDings , you are a courageous man.

Okay, "come on with the goat then".

- "Dat stappendoel was niet opgewassen tegen Corr":

Corr heeft het stappendoel verpletterd.

- "Jij is Mario voorbij gevlogen":

Jij bent Mario voorbij gevlogen.

When someone enters a challenge: "Corr doet mee" or "Corr is van de partij". NOT "Corr heeft deelgenomen", that means Corr has left the challenge or the challenge has been ended..

Mario, hier moeten toch een paar mooie Vlaamse uitdrukkingen binnen te smokkelen zijn?!

But I still think Fitbit is very fit to pay a translator, or a programmer with knowledge of grammar, out of their annual profits....
