Error on Android GPS Distance

Been a fit bit user since 2014. The GPS of the Charge 2 and now the Ionic I own is always a little off. I also use run keeper to track my runs, and it is fine on there. I use android and others I have talked with that switched from Apple to Android seem to have the same problem. If I run a 5k is is off by about .05. Yesterday I ran 3.08 but fitbit said 3.04 - adds up - when I do 10 miles it is off by a quarter mile... I thought you would have a fix for this by now, it's been going on for a long time.

Welcome to the Forums @cjemo.

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing your experience.

In this case, I'd recommend checking this help article. It explains why it could be that the GPS is off and offers some steps to help it resolve the situation. In addition, I'd like to ask if you are tracking Runs or any other activity?

Look forward to your reply.
