Hi, i'm having a really annoying issue. The heart rate data in an exercise doesn't match the time correctly, it's offset by 3hs and I'm in a timezone that is GMT-3.
My setup:
What i have/have done:
I'll leave an example of an exercise. We have in big bold numbers the average ppm of 159, and the graph visible never goes over 116, the zones do correspond to the graph.
In actuality, the big bold number is correct, but i checked and the graph (and zones) correspond to 3hs later. So we see in a same screen there is something wrong.
I'll leave some other screengrabs from the fitbit profile, settings in app and app versions too

Try this: on the watch itself go to Settings -> System -> Date & time. Toggle off "Automatic time zone". And in the "Set time zone" pick a location with your time zone.
This seems to fix it for me (Pixel Watch 2) and my gf (Pixel Watch 3). The heart rate chart started showing correct timestamps. In the Fitbit location and timezone are set to automatic.
Hello @zmaster_ar
By any chance, do you use VPN on your phone? I've read that users who use VPN have had issues with the time in their Fitbit app. When they disable VPN, that corrects the times in their Fitbit app.

Best AnswerNo, I don't. Well, I occasionally do, but it's a VPN to my own home network. Shouldn't be an issue, right?
Best AnswerHello @zmaster_ar
It sounds to me like having a VPN to your own home network shouldn't be a problem. Still, you could try disabling your VPN just to rule it out.

Best Answer99% of the time it's not enabled. I only enable it occasionally when I'm out and I need to access something from my network. Usually not near any time when I'm exercising.
Best AnswerHello @zmaster_ar
Have you looked at your profile information in the Fitbit app to confirm that your location is set correctly there?

Best AnswerHello @zmaster_ar
As part of your troubleshooting, did you try changing your location and time zone manually to something else, followed by a sync, then back to the correct location & time zone?
If so, and that didn't fix the problem, I'm pretty much out of suggestions.
I hope someone else can chime in with a suggestion that I didn't think of.

Best AnswerThanks for the help, @RiekoC. And indeed i did that to no avail.
It did fix at some point (not exactly sure when or what fixed it) is a similar problem with the sleep tracking time zone (i didn't mentioned it in this post because it was fixed in the preliminary troubleshooting), where it always displayed the time recorded 3 hours ahead.
What is a sign to me that is a bug, is that in the same screen is pulling info from 2 different timezones, or at least displaying it as if they were from different time zones, but in the same screen.
Hello @zmaster_ar
Thanks for confirming you tried changing the time zones, then back.
I agree that this looks to be a bug. Please use the Feedback option in the Fitbit app to report this bug.
The feedback reports go to the team for review.

Best AnswerI have the exact same issue. I live in GMT+3 timezone, but heart rate chart is shown in GMT 0. Do you have any luck solving the issue?
Best AnswerNope. Other than the helpful troubleshooting provided by RiekoC, no answer or solution from google itself.

@ExxaD Sorry for the late reply, but i had a minor injury and i couldn't exercise and test this. But indeed, today i tested it and setting the timezone manually did fix the issue. Well, not fix it really, but at least is register the data as it should.
I had tried to set it manually to another zone (being the correct one, or another completely different) to "reset it", but i always set it up to automatic so i never tried to keep it manual.
Thanks for this, it was driving me nuts.
