Exercise short-cuts on Inspire 3 show all 36 exercises, not just the short-cuts selected in the app since the last firmware update (Aug 2024)

Hi there, @MichaelaDDDDDDD and @ingovidual. @Julia_G Thanks for your help.
@MichaelaDDDDDDD and @ingovidual Thanks for sharing these details with me. As our friend mentioned, with the firmware update your Inspire 3 will show all the exercise options so you can select one without having to sync with the Fitbit app. Nevertheless, I understand how helpful those shortcuts were and appreciate your feedback as it'll help us to continue improving.
For more information about the changes included with the firmware update, see this help article.

Hi, @MichaelaDDDDDDD , what you are seeing is expected behaviour, not a bug. Following the recent update all exercise options are available on the device and the options from the app are no longer relevant. The tracker will show your most recent selected exercise(s) at the top of the list. It is not possible to return to the shorter list available before the update.
Welcome to the forums.

Well that is horrible. There are 5 different activities, I track regularly. Up to now I had my 6 favorites and was fine. Now I only have a list of my recent 3 activities and am forced to go to "more" and scroll through the list of 30+ activities to start tracking. Who came up with this bad idea? And why is there still the option in the app to manage 6 favorites when they won't show up anywhere?

Hi, @ingovidual , I am afraid that I don’t have the answers to your questions. I am only reporting how the exercise app is currently working.

Julia
If this is the functionality, why has the app not been changed to remove this feature? Are there any elease notes that speak to these discrepancies?

I use three (old, can only do so much!)--Auto recognize walking and aerobics, however, I no longer have weights. Whoever decided this was a good ide needs to be fired.

All of the changes with the new app are horrible. For bike tracking on the "speed view" it used to show the various MPH info, now it just shows, slower pace, average pace, Faster pace. That is completely USELess for a tracker. Going to look at garmin now as all of the things I liked about the device and app are gone. Also all the graphs are horrible as well (sleep etc). The graphics on the phone app look like they were built in 1990. Looks like the designers are people who actually never used a fitbit before.

I agree this is a rubbish change. I use swim, weights, treadmill all at the bottom of the list. Today i accidentally clicked on the wrong one so now have Bike in my list and had no idea how to get out of it. If there are going to be fundamental changes like this in an update should we get an email - who had time to read update notes. Auto recognise doesn't always work so j never rely on it.
