My exercise tracking seems to be bery erratic now. I exercise every day and last week the exercise tracker registered 6 times. Yesterday it said I did no exercise despite a 2 hour walk. Do I now have to manually start it each time I go for a walk or run?

Hi, @DouglasPitt! For a walk that long, it's surprising that it didn't track it. I would suggest restarting your tracker a few times to see if that helps. However, I have found that the best way to ensure something gets tracked is to just start and stop the exercise manually.

MakMak,
I can't accept that as a solution. Two weeks ago I can see that I got all 7 days exercise. I can see the number of walks and runs I have done each day. It now counts my walking as eliptical exercise and a 30 minute walk which was actually a run. It said I did no exercise yesterday at all. So your solution of starting things off manually is a bit of an excuse for bad app updates. I will give it a week and if an update doesnt appear to put thing right then i'm sorry the Fitbit will be consigned to the drawer. Thanks for responding promptly.
