So I work with my hands all day, as an embroider and on my feet. I walk quite a bit but did notice that this is picking up my hand movements, recording false steps. I do wear it on my non dominate wrist. Is there anyway to fix this or is having a fitbit not worth it?

Best AnswerIf you are willing to give up heart rate data, you should be able to record steps by putting it in a pocket or clipping it onto clothing somehow.

Best AnswerSo the solution is to not wear the wrist band on your wrist? Ok. They should make an ankle band replacement.

Fitbit does make the clip-on Zip. If you want them to make another kind of model,
the Feature Suggestions Board is the place to make your voice heard.
Best AnswerDon't like a watch in my pocket or strapped on. Fit bit on hand as a watch should only count steps. Very inaccurate and doesn't suit me. Any way this can be resolved while wearing a charge 2 on the wrist. I took it that it was supposed to do that.

Sorry, but nothing on your wrist can truly know what your hips and legs are doing.
