I love the activity tracker but.....

I'm a person that has a varied schedule, now I set the tracker to beep at me during the hours that I know I'm always going to be okay, but I resent that it doesn't count hours that I'm active if it's outside of that zone. I think Fitbit should always count an hour that I do more than 250 steps it just shouldn't buzz me unless it's within the hours that I set it for

Hi, @SunsetRunner.

Thanks for the clarification. Your Fitbit device will count steps if you wake up and start walking but probably you won't be very active at that time, however it's a good idea. I suggest you visit our Feature Suggestions board and post this idea. Welcome to the Community, @SunsetRunner.

Your feedback is appreciated since Fitbit is always working to improve based on your experience and ideas. Just to confirm, do you mean that your Fitbit device is vibrating with reminders to move even when it's outside the hours scheduled?

Catch you later.

No. I mean that the fitbit buzzes correctly, during the hours that I set.
What I was asking for is that it would not only count the active hours
during that time but it would count the active hours all day. If I'm having
trouble sleeping and I'm walking around the house at 3:00 in the morning I
would like for the Fitbit to count that. Not just in my steps total, but in
my active hours.

I may be the only person that would like that, but I thought I would put it
out there just in case I'm not. It doesn't seem like it would be a hard
software fix for you guys to change 🙂

Make a good day
