Feedback about the new Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The new version of the App has removed several features: can't see a heart BPM graph for manually added activities; can't see device charge % from app; can't edit - correct - the auto activity name

After using this "update" for a week I've found even more features have disappeared -

I can no longer scroll down through exercises to compare my performance, everything beyond a week's data just shows the number of days of exercise - not much use in comparing two or three workouts.

Similar problem with steps. If I want to review steps for several weeks all I see now are weekly averages (these are useless) Fitbit is now distinctly average. I want to be able to scroll down and pick out the days I have done long hikes, not possible now.

While I understand the app won't revert, can some features be returned??

It's really disappointing to not have the heart rate graph for manual exercises. Sometimes it's not appropriate to be fussing with my watch for a workout, and I prefer to more discreetly add an exercise later.

Being unable to see my charge level on the phone seems so simple and useful for when the device is charging in another room. I want to treat my battery well (charge up to 80%), and now I can't monitor it.

I understand there's a scripted response to these complaints, but it seems like this feedback is falling on deaf ears based on this response.

@Pixel6-G35 and @AthletesFoot it has been announced here that some of these features will be restored in a future update to the Fitbit app.
