Why does this app not come free and preloaded on the watch... seems like common sense to me...

I agree. I purchased and tried to use the find my phone so and I can't get it to work.

Wow... if you pay for something like that, I would expect it to work. Not
necessarily flawless, but at least work. Thanks for heads-up. Won't be
purchasing that app.
