Hello @bdesplaines, good to see you again. If the firmware on your Alta is not working, turn your tracker off and on again using this instructions. Give it another try after the restart and if the issue persists reboot your mobile device and try the update again.
If it doesn't work, try on a different mobile device or computer (if available) log into your Fitbit account and try updating your firmware. for more details please take a look at this post.
