Fit bit walking program turns off whenever I get a phone call on my Samsung Galaxy S8+

I just got the samsung galaxy s eight plus and I noticed that whenever i'm in the middle of a walk if I get a phone call it shuts my walking program off. This never happened on my galaxy s5. I know that a lot of people are having issues with different things with their new s eight phones but I haven't seen anybody posting about this issue. If anybody has any Information as to how to resolve this I'd greatly appreciate it!

@AprilTracy, I moved this post to the Android App Help Forum - it is a problem with app rather a hardware problem with the tracker. It will get more response here.
