FitBit Flex Battery life & steps not syncing

So there's 2 issues here.

First, my battery life is going way down after 8 months. In one week, I've charged it three times; Tuesday (8/9), Saturday (8/13), and Monday (8/15). The battery has been low or empty all three of those days. I have cleaned the tracker though I noticed no debris on the sensors.

Secondly, the steps my tracker shows and the steps on the app don't match. Yesterday, my tracker alerted me when I hit 10,000 steps at work, but the app said 9,000 at midnight. Today, according to my tracker, I should have 6,000-8,000 steps, yet the app, synced moments ago, says only 3,700. There's also a strange thing where the app says I was moderately active from 11:30pm to 12:15, even though I was asleep and the fitbit flex was on the dresser to be charged in the morning.

Hi @heyLaddieHey welcome to the Fitbit Community! That's kinda weird, I suggest you restarting your tracker for 3 times in a row to try to resolve, although it wouldn't resolve the fact that the battery is draining so fast. In any case I suggest you contacting support to evaluate if there's something wrong with your tracker.
