I don't really know how to properly title this topic...
Take a look at these screenshots. They both track my sleep today. First, I woke up at 5, went to the bathroom, took a screenshot and then went back to bed. Then I woke up approximately 0625 and took another screenshot.
Notice that:
1. Hypnogram looks different for the same part of the night (21:53 - 05:03).
2. Second screenshot shows that deep sleep was longer by 15 minutes while there was no deep sleep after 05:00.
3. Even though I've slept more than 1 hour longer and "had" 15 minutes more of deep sleep, my sleep score is actually lower.
And I've seen this quite a lot recently, up to cases where the difference between deep sleep "before and after toilet break" was 47 minutes.
I know that sleep monitoring is approximation, but I'd expect not to vary this much, especially with Pixel Watch 2 that is supposed to have reasonable sensors.
Shouldn't FitBit use different formula to calculate sleep score, so longer sleep won't produce lower score?
