FitBit rejecting my phone.

Hey all,
Need some help. Yesterday I got a replacement fitbit as my other one was a dud. This new one. Charged fine and when I went to add it to my fitbit account it keeps saying that either the fitbit is rejecting my bluetooth or that there is a communication error.
Is anyone else having this issue?
If so...
What did you do to fix the issue?

Try this:

1. Remove the old tracker from your account
2. Put the old tracker far away from the device you'll be syncing with (e.g. in another room), so it doesn't interfere with the new tracker
3. Perform factory reset of the new tracker. Not restart, factory reset.
4. Pair/link the new tracker with your account.
