FitFace no longer working with the Fitbit App

Since last FitBit App update the FitFace App no longer allows access to the customisation page. 

It is now impossible to select a new face or alter the current face.

Hi, because you log in with your Google account you get the Google account profile picture. If you want to change it go to your Google account settings>personal settings>profile picture. Alternatively, go to the Fitbit online dashboard>profile picture>change profile picture.

No this doesn't help and you clearly don't understand the question - FitFace is a watch face app not a profile picture. 

Issue solved by installing previous version me FitBit App - the latest update is full of bugs

To be honest, I have never used FitFace. Did you receive a specific error message? I am glad to read you found a solution, although temporary. In case an app no longer connects with a Fitbit account, the steps in the following article are recommended:

How do you uninstall the newest update? Fitface won't work for me either.

I agree, this latest update of Fitbit app is awful. I can't access the settings on any watch face, or apps including the weather app. All was ok for years with previous app. I've been following others with the same problem but no concrete answer just the usual song and dance.
