Fitbit Alta not syncing with Galaxy S7

I have an Alta, have had it for about 2 years. I have a Galaxy S7 for about a year. I've noticed recently (within the past few weeks) that: 1. The phone when searching for the alta does not find it. 2. The all day sync button is on yet it does not sync up throughout the day. Sometimes it syncs up from the day before. 3. Tapping on the face of the alta rarely works. 4. It does not record my steps I've taken, though I know I have.

Have a fitbit alta, have had it for 2 years. Have a galaxy s7 for about a year. Noticed about 2 weeks ago:

1. My phone doesn't sync with my alta, if it does it is from the day before. 2. When tapping on the face of the alta the time does not show up. 3. The alta does not sync up my steps throughout the day. The all day sync is turned on.
