Fitbit App food reverts to old entry?

Very odd issue, but recently (possibly since last update) I have to double check my food entries as the app will revert to the original entry.

 

For example I've high protein bread (small slice) on my custom database. It's set at 4 slices from a previous entry. Now say I've had 2 slices today, so I'll click the item, change to 2 slices from 4. Now if I just watch the screen, more often then not the 2 will change back to a 4. If I'm not watching then I could easily be entering more food than I'm eating!

 

This can happen a couple of times, then the app will stay with the new entry.

 

It's a faff, and not a great deal of hassle but I could be missing things in a rush to enter data.

Hello there, @SunsetRunner! Cat Very Happy Nice to see you! Heart Is this just happening on the App or also on the online dashboard? 

 

If you haven't tried please confirm this to me, so I can report the situation. In the mean time, please try logging out, rebooting your phone and then logging back in. Also, make sure that you are running the latest version of the App. 

 

And let me know how long ago did this started to happen. I'll be waiting for your updates. Man Very Happy

Have followed your advice, but the issue still occurs even with the most recent update (couple of days ago).

 

Running on a Moto G4 with Android 7.0, Fitbit Charge 2 v22.22.53.4, app version 2.53.

 

So, adjusting a value from say 2 to 4 slices, the number will reset to 2. This happens a couple of times and then will allow me to change the number.
