Fitbit App is not updating in heart rate graphic in the heart rate dashboard

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have noticed that the heart rate graphic for a day in witch I do not wear so much (2 hours) the fitbit (alta hr) is not visible in the heart rate dashboard. In other stations I must sync the app for 5-10 times to see the heart rate dashboard updated with all the results.

For 5 august 2018 I can access the heart rate graph only by accessing the 4 august graph and sliding to the next day fro there.

@MikyMM Hi and Welcome - not sure if it would make a difference but to get accurate Heart rate data and sleep data the best suggestion is to wear your device all the time if possible like a normal watch - if not ensure the tracker is secure enough when you put it on - as a rule of the thumb I use. I must be able to place my index finger under the strap to the second knuckle - for regular use - for exercise I tighten one more notch on the strap,

more info that may help in your decisions What should I know about my heart rate data

if all else fails  give support a call , customer support phone number will appear once the office is open (usually 0800 - 1900 Mon-Fri and 1000 - 1700 weekends in the UK)

Customer Support UK

This is for the UK but should you need to change country scroll to the bottom and look for United Kingdom with a down arrow next to it and click on the arrow now you can select your relevant country and the page will refresh

hope this helps

Kind Regards

Hello,

I don't think that is a a problem from how I wear the fitbit (because the heart rate is measured properly). My problem is with the Android app that is not sync-ing and not showing correctly all the data fitbit measures.

Thanks for your reply anyway.

@MikyMM Hi - I apologise for any confusion I had - I thought from your first post that it was just the Heart rate that wasn't working not all data - with this updated information you have provided there are a few more thing you could try -

Firstly take a look at the following it may help out Why won't my Fitbit device sync

next if the above doesn't work you could try a restart of your device (may have to do 2-3 times in a row to take full effect How do I restart my Fitbit device

and last but not least go to you phone settings>apps>Fitbit>Storage>clear data and cache> uninstall app

then restart the phone and reinstall the app

if all that fails then Customer support will be the best option the link is in my last post

Hope this helps a little more than the last posting 🙂

Kind Regards

I really think that is a Adndoit Fitbit App bug. Maybe the app is not tested for all types of using.

@MikyMM There is an app bug in force at the moment as per the red banner atop the page - updates have been release in accordance with the following thread

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/App-2-76-1-steps-calories-revert-to-zero-no-live-HR/td-p...

this update App 2.77 is set to resolve these issues but so far there has been a mixed response - some items have been fixed other made worse - the link provided will keep you upto date with what's happening with that part of the issue - I personally would wait until it have been proven to work correctly before updating to this but if you are set to auto update you wont have that choice - in google play under settings I have turned off auto update so I can judge whether to update or not once this is confirmed fixed.

Hope this helps a little

Kind Regards

I have the same problem. Panels showing the yellow-red heart rate graph data are stopped at 28th of March but I can forcibly scroll to more recent dates by clicking one graph and swiping. Very weird.

@Helgsig - Hi and Welcome - Not sure if it is the same problem but I have noticed since all the updates that everything Fitbit is running a lot slower - if you have not opened a tile for a while I have noticed that it can take upto an hour maybe 2 to get back upto date - so when you open the HR tile for the graphs do you open up one and then scroll forward to get a later days data if so the next time you open up that link (the next day maybe) does all the outstanding data appear on the main HR page (if that makes sense).

its not just the HR tile that this happens to on mine sometimes the calories, steps and floors as well

Also can you use a laptop/Desktop and does the same problem occur on those devices? mine seems to update ok on my desktop

Hope this is of some use (but then again 🙂  )

Kind Regards
