I have a Samsung S24+ with the current Fitbit app installed. For about the last week, every morning when I open the app it requires me to sign in again. Why? This has never happened before and I have been using the app for six years (prior versions obviously). Thanks.

I have two Google phones and an iPhone I have not had to sign in on any one of them. So I would look at your configuration of your phone? If it is clearing your Fitbit app cache or storage this would cause it to ask you to re-sign in. YMMV.

I'm not sure why your phone / app is doing that. You could try uninstalling the app and then re-installing it > login and pay attention to any & all permissions requests that appear. I have not had to sign into the Fitbit app in months, since first setting up my new phone (Android).

Hi @SC19 - in the last days it suddenly happened to me, that I found I was unexpectedly logged out.
One time it said the server was down. Possibly if there is a server outage you will get logged out.
It doesn't explain your more frequent forced logouts.
Perhaps make sure the app cannot be optimized and is allowed to run in background.
