Hello @bird1956, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for your post. To fix the syncing difficulties you're currently experiencing, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

When the auto syncing was available on the phone app I had no problems
But now I have to manually sync sometimes after 3days if forget and I lose
out during challenges
I don't change anything during the day

Your update is appreciated @bird1956.

Let me share with you that, to improve your experience with notifications, syncing, and firmware updates, we removed the option to turn off all-day sync from the Fitbit app. When your phone is near your Fitbit device with Bluetooth turned on, it periodically syncs with the Fitbit app to update your stats and download available firmware updates.

Don't hesitate to ask me any additional questions.

This problem has been occurring for years. I had no problems auto syncing when I first got my Blaze but after about 2 years it rarely if ever auto syncs, even in a new phone. The support response is always about general sync setup but they ignore this specific issue of auto sync,  just as this moderator does.   The device syncs manually so this isn't a communication issue. It's a software issue.   Poor software at that.   I believe they intentionally ignore this specific auto sync issue because they know it's broken and want people to buy a newer device. I've been tracking this problem for more than a year and always the same run around.
