Fitbit Can't Load Widget with Android 12

Immediately after upgrading my Pixel 5 to the latest version of Android 12 today, the Fitbit Widget now refuses to display.  The OS, the Fitbit app, and Chrome are all up to date.  The phone has been restarted.  The widget has been removed and readded.  This is yet another epic fail by Fitbit this year and just one reason I have ended the "Premium" membership.  Why should I keep paying $10 a month for a product that does not work?
