Fitbit Charge HR WAS syncing. Ten minutes later, it's STUCK at "LOOKING."

The title describes it all. It was able to sync to my Xperia Z2 before I went to lunch.

FORTY FIVE MINUTES LATER AFTER I ATE, IT HAS REMAINED AT "LOOKING." I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, data clearing, and Phone resetting, but nothing has worked. Tried it with an Xperia Z5 Premium, Nothing. Also stuck at "looking."

It used to be that when I wanted to sync it did. Instantly.

I am freaking out because I don't really have the money to buy a new Fitbit if it turns out that it is my Fitbit that's broken. I hope that it's just a software problem, but I don't really know. How do I know it's not my Fitbit that's defective? Thank you.

Ever since the latest update (new app look) I've found that usually at least once or twice a day I have to turn off smartphone Bluetooth then turn it back on. Once I've done this it syncs with no problem. Since I've only had my Charge 2 about 3 weeks & it worked fine before the new app look was loaded, I'm hoping this is something in the app & not a problem with my Charge 2..

My Charge HR is doing the same thing today. I synced at 11 something this morning but now my Nexus 5X just says "Looking" and then says "Tracker not found." When I look at the paired bluetooth devices the Charge HR no longer shows up. My phone is still paired with my LG watch so I know the phone's bluetooth is working.

I just dug out my old Fitbit Zip, put a battery in it and it syncs fine. I guess I'll use it for a while until I figure out the Charge HR. Bummer that I lost 18,000 steps that won't sync to my dashboard. Smiley Sad

Solution! (at least for me)

After doing everything I could find without any success, I looked for solutions to other problems that might be related.

Try this:   http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/How-do-I-restart-my-tracker/

I restarted my tracker and in about 30 seconds it was working fine.
