Fitbit Charge HR incompatible with Android Lollipop

I have been through 4 HRs since Christmas with sync issues, heart rate monitoring, fast battery drain and glitchy software. Today, after countless calls and hours on the phone with support I was told they have an issue syncing with Android Lolliop. I have a Samsung Galaxy 4S,not so small brand phone. They can't tell me when they will have a fix for the problem so I am done! I feel bad as I had a straight Charge that I loved until it fell off due to the old wrist band and my daughters bought me this HR for Christmas. If you have an HR and issues with an Android phone, call support and get your money back.

Welcome to the forums @SunsetRunner

I'm running Lollipop (Android 5.01) with a Samsung Galaxy 4s and it has no problems syncing. Using the latest firmware on the FItbit, as well as the latest app for the phone, I've had relatively few problems syncing.

What exactly is happening to yours?

Ive had 3 Charge Hrs in the last 2 weeks. There i was naively thinking it was an issue with the specific fibit i had purchased or a fault in manufacturing. WRONG. Thanks for posting. Evidently there is a massive issue with the 5.01 system yet no-one at Fitbit will acknowledge this. They'd rather we spent hours of our time trawling through forums and waiting for some lame reply from Fitbit support (which is a referal to info available on the web - pointless - fire them all).

My first and last experience  with this 'brand' - I'm so over it. I will be returning my gadget for the 3rd time and getting a refund. Roll on Garmin Vivosmart HR, goodbye **ahem**bit.

Fitbit - you are appauling, Worst technology experience ever. I'm spreading that widely through my network of fitties. Dont waste you time or money.
