Fitbit Charge Hr reset on it's own

I synced my fitbit charge hr to my phone and I had made my goal. Then when I checked it again, not an hour later...somehow it dropped to the 3,500 footsteps. I'm not sure what happened.

Hello @Nesh. Welcome aboard to our community. It seems that this is an issue with the communication between your tracker and your account. Note that is not likely that your steps dropped once you have achieved it on your tracker. Make sure that your tracker has synced correctly and all your data has been updated. Sometimes there is a delay while the information upload to the Fitbit servers and despite you have synced it has not completely upload all your data. Have you take a look recently to your dashboard to verify if your steps remain in the same amount you mentioned?

I'm pretty sure that your information by now has been properly updated. Otherwise can you confirm if the steps dropped on your tracker too?

I'll be around so keep me posted how it goes.

I had the same issue happen. I just replaced my fitbit and cannot get a full day use out of it. It was not recording my steps and the device appears to be off. I hit my goal, tried to sync, but my phone (S7) would not sync. After fiddling with it and tryign to get the display to turn on, I took off the watch, it sysnced, then wiped all data from today online and from the device.

Any suggestions?

@Kim_bare_ly Oh no! That's unfortunate. The Samsung Galaxy S7 has all the hardware requirements to be a supported device but is currently not on our list of supported devices. This means that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet. If the device supports BLE (AKA Bluetooth 4.0) I recommend giving the setup flow a try.

If that does not work, I suggest setting up and syncing via a device listed as supported or using a computer. Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates!
