Fitbit One no longer syncing with Galaxy S7 edge

My One has stopped syncing since Feb 28, 2017. I've tried everything, restarting bluetooth, uninstalling app on phone and reinstalling. NOTHING.  The fitbit one no longer shows up one searching for bluetooth devices.  I have tried resetting it too, by following these directions, "Plug your charging cable into your computer. Plug your Fitbit One tracker into the charging cable, making sure that the gold contacts on your tracker align with the gold contacts in the inside of the charger.
Hold down your tracker's button for 10-12 seconds. Remove your tracker from the charging cable and press its button until the screen turns on."  NOTHING.  It wont reset.  If anything, the stupid timer comes on.  Is it time to just toss this thing and move on to something else?

Hello @Travelgirl007, good to see you have joined to the Fitbit Community. In order to reset your tracker is require it stay connected on the charging cable, otherwise while you press and hold the button without the charging cable is connected, it will only activate the timer on your One.

If your tracker is presenting issues to sync I recommend to review the following post for additional help: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

Keep me posted how it goes, I'll be around.
