Fitbit One won't update from firmware 6.46 to 6.64; also can't change the time

Help! 2 problems!

My Fitbit One won't update to 6.64 from 6.46 but continues to give me the message that there is updated firmware. It starts to update but then stops and says Try Again.

I can't change the time from the last time I travelled with it to Europe. I followed the instructions to turn off the automatic time zone setting, also chose my time zone manually, nothing worked.

Tried all that, will sync (always did) but won't update and still can't change the time

Try changing the timezone to something other than yours. Sync, then correct the timezone.

Any suggestions on the update problem?

At what point does the update fail?

Is it when the phones screen goes dark? If so, move the Fitbit app to the background after the update process begins.

Why are you just now being offered an update that was released 3 years ago?

Hi Rich, sorry for the delay, got busy.

It will sync with my phone but it won't pair ("One rejects pairing" is the message I get), so when I try to update it tries to search but can't seem to find the One.

I'm late with the update because I didn't use my fitbit for those 3 yrs.

That is correct @jacobina the one will reject any attempt to pair through the phones Bluetooth. All Fitbit trackers will reject this.

You should not need the one as a trusted Bluetooth device to sync or update.

I forget if the one can receive notifications, which would be the only reason the Fitbit app would ask to pair.

So how do I get it to update from 6.46 to 6.64?
