Fitbit While Driving / Google Maps Integration

I am extremely frustrated as a Courier delivery driver that my Fitbit is obviously erroneously tracking extra steps/floors while I am driving...

The only solutions I have seen are to charge my fitbit while driving or to download an app to "pause" it during then remember to unpause when I am not. I find these solutions completely impractical when I am in a hurry to get things there on time and can't afford to spend time thinking about this when I am driving/jumping out every 20mins during my work week.

Why can't Fitbit simply integrate with Google Maps so when I am navigating it will cancel out any gained steps during that time? It's a simple and automatic solution! I have done Google searches and cannot find anyone suggesting this workaround.

Please integrate with the navigation services! It's made focusing on my fitness hard when I can't rely on the accuracy of my steps.

Feel free to add your suggestions to the 'Feature Requests' Sub Forum, where users can vote, add comments,.. if there's a certain interest then there's a chance the developers pick it up and it'll be developed.

 

Important to prevent duplicates Search if the idea already has been suggested and add your vote / comment! Smiley Wink
