Fitbit Zip won't sync with S9

Since late update on my S9+ phone will locate my Zip but will not sync. Talked to Verizon and Samsung and seems to be a Fitbit concern

About 2-3 weeks ago, Samsung Galaxy S9 underwent upgrades. Typical.  But after that I could not get my FitBit Zip to sync. Now, after the time change, I can't get my Fitbit to sync via computer and the dongle.  I always make sure I update my FitBit so my Monday report 'looks good.'  Sadly, the prospect of having a good report are going out the window.

Thanks for bringing this up. Let me help you figure out what is going on on.

 

The first thing I'd recommend is that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article. They should definitely help in getting your Zip to sync correctly.

 

In the meantime I'd like to ask what Android version is it that your S9+ is running. Are you referring to the update on the Fitbit app or the phone itself?

Hi. Thanks for the help.
Concern started with update on 2/21/19. I think that was a Samsung update.
Not sure what software, I find a 12+ digit in settings, it starts with a G. If that is it let me know

Same here...if i remove the battery and reinstall it will sync..doesn't make sense
