Fitbit and Motorola Moto Z compatibility

My Fitbit blaze shows empty battery but the mobile app says it is fully charged. When the battery got low I used to get a email and a warning message from the app but the last 2 times this has happened I haven't gotten either one.

When I place it in the charging device the large battery charging icon appears like it is charging and it stays charged for about 6 hours. (Usually it last a few days.) However the Fitbit app on my Moto Z says it is fully charged. Is it charged? Does it need to be charged? It is also not syncing properly. Sometimes it will sync and then sometimes I am have to go to the mobile app and manually sync it. I got this as a Christmas present and it is the first time I've had any issues.

I have a Moto X Pure, and nearly all of the sync issues went away with the latest version of the app, 2.69.

Make sure you have the "always connected" and "keep-alive" widgets enabled, they seem to be what makes the difference.

Hi there @Neneboo198534. Good to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with the battery level on your tracker not showing correctly on the Fitbit app and for your tracker not syncing correctly.

I think the problem here is that your tracker is not syncing as it should to your phone and that makes the battery level not to update on your app. Also, I was taking a look at the list of compatible devices and it seems that the Moto Z is not a compatible device.

When it comes to devices compatibility, keep in mind that the two devices that are for sure not compatible at the moment are the Huawei P9 Lite and the Huawei P8 Lite.

For all other devices, if they're not on the list of compatible devices, you might be able to sync with them but we don't guarantee that the functionality will be optimum as we are still testing on these phone models and due to the large number of Android and Windows devices, our team has not yet tested all of them.

In order for your tracker to sync to your phone, be sure that your phone runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) for it to be able to sync.

If you have any other question, let me know!

Ps. I've moved your post to the Android board for categorization purposes.

When will you update the motorola phones you support? I have a moto z force, and ever since the first firmware update on my Ionic, the notifications are very spotty. I may get some on one day and none on another. I used to received all notifications before the firmwares updates. I am very upset, because i rely on the notifications when i am working and can't pull out my phone constantly. Ant help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

That doesn't work either. Already tried it several times.

We are now up to Andriod 7.1.1 does that make a difference also?

Did you have to do anything special to make it sync?  does it sync though out the day?  are you also getting notifications?
